Chemical Safety in the Kitchen

Just a quick note for safety in the kitchen: I had to explain to someone who had gotten confused about chemicals regarding what is acceptable and what is not. You always want to read the labels on your cleaning supplies and call the 800 number if you have a question. Now, Comet with bleach can have more bleach added to it and you be okay. That’s not really a big deal, but if you mix comet with bleach and ammonia, you will have a problem. You can’t inhale that. If you mix ammonia and bleach, you will have a bigger problem. When you breathe it in, it can burn your esophagus. This is why I don’t like mixing cleaners at all. In fact, I strongly discourage the mixing of chemicals.
