There are times when your Parents will tell you to lie and do the wrong thing. However, if you are a man then you need to take responsibility for your actions. Do not lie for your parents but instead, show them what a reliable person looks like.
The reason is when push comes to shove they will lie on you just like they told you to lie on others.
It would be you getting in trouble, not them.
Telling the truth very often keeps you from getting the short end of the stick.
