When we have computers coming up with solutions for us or even creating problems to implement we need a human touch.
There are too many good sides to AI to list but at some point, I will probably try.
The problems with AI is that it can…
- Cause Divorce
- Incite Violence
- Separate the Family
- Kill
- Delete
- Alter History
AI can also apply labels such as the ones below:
- Make them Look like a Terrorist
- Make them Look Gay
AI can even cause emotional disturbance, such as…
- Self-Incrimination
- Invocation of Panic
- Depression
- Confusion
- Influence of Sexual Desires
You can do things like…
- Help you discredit a competitor
- Blackmail
- Incriminate
And, of course, there are the basic marketing applications that will influence what you eat, where you go, and what you wear. Smart technology will take multiple people and manipulate their interactions. It is fairly easy for a person to influence with the use of AI in combination with natural environment interference.
Computers can do immoral things like tell you the best avenue to take to get out of paying for a bill. Some applications don’t have much of a conscience. In fact, most applications don’t have a conscience at all. They will lie, and not feel the least bit bad about it.
There is no scarier thing than an application with no conscience being used by a human being with no conscience. Those people will at least try to lie, cheat, kill, and/or destroy. They will certainly manipulate their targets for personal gain.
We have the technology to already do this, and we are using it. I’ve experienced some of this. It’s not the future, it is now. The messed up part is we don’t have to actually be informed that it’s happening. There is virtually no regulation for it.
Should we restrict the use of AI for people who suffer from diagnoses such as Narcissism or Psychopathy? This will eventually be discussed but not likely imposed because of lack of manageability, but, again this consideration is definitely an option.
While speaking to some people from the Green Party, I suggested that every town hire technological crime officers and for there to be community technical centers at no cost, at low cost, or a sliding scale of prices. We also need to make the FBI more readily accessible.
Having technology that would issue options to kill, break, throw away, or even allow that element/person to rot should make us all think; “What are we actually trying to achieve here?” God is still our manager and owner of the Universe.
Natural societal influences will influence AI. If society is racist. Then AI will most certainly be. It could easily suggest that you oppress women, chip the black people first and destroy the special needs population without blinking.
The person utilizing this technology does matter. If a user is trained not to feel but to receive the command and execute, then they might not give a second thought to the order. We have to always remember that we are managing people.
