Today I emailed Senator Booker, as I have for years, with a request that he sponsor a conversation between women and men of color that would encourage healthy communication.
This would facilitate in putting away some of the disillusionment, mend the divide, and empower our people to not just work in harmony amongst ourselves but with others. Every group has its own cultural needs. We should nurture these matters and not ignore them. It’s OK that we all are different. Our differences are our strength.
Change starts with us caring enough to say something and change in action has an impact when we actually do something.
Love each other. Love will give us ears to hear the problems that have been set before us to solve.
Have faith and believe.
