Some people believe women should be punished because of abortion.
There are times when a woman ends up pregnant and the man flips out. They might be married and he will say things like, “If you have that baby you’ll be raising it on your own,” or “I don’t want the child.” Then their are times when women are drugged or raped on college campus. Even worse is when a psychotic employee decides to polk holes in the condoms where they work. Then when some girls get pregnant in High School their parents force them into it. There are even times when the mothers life might be at risk if she has the child.
We should have mercy, especially in the cases of marriage where the wife is being obediant to her husband.
I don’t encourage anyone to just go out and get pregnant outside of marriage but in a world full of sin, we should have mercy.
I am prolife and prolife is about far more than abortion. It’s about feeding people and helping them when they are down and caring about each other. How can anyone claim to be prolife but then when lives hang in the balance they don’t care? If you are prolife then why don’t you believe people should have Health Insurance? or Affordable tuition, so they don’t lose their house and starve?
What I teach is don’t have sex outside of marriage but if you do then have the child. However, I can’t be blind to reality.
