Here is a quote from his Twitter on 3/13/2018:
“A young man I knew was murdered at the top of my block yesterday: Shahid Smith.
He was killed by an assault weapon that does not belong on my block or any street.
Shahid lived below me in Brick Towers where I lived for 8 years.
His life mattered.
His death must matter.”
If Shahid lived below him for 8 years and Cory had all those connection then why didn’t he use them to get Shahid in a better position? Why didn’t he help Shahid? Did Shahid ever ask him to mentor him? Why is Brick Towers still in such bad shape?
Does anyone else notice the repeated pattern here. Maybe Senator Booker needs to change his approach and stop using the death of black people as talking points. He politicizes this stuff just to gain attention. Maybe it’s good that he didn’t mentor because he seems to devalue parenthood as a whole. As a mom I can’t say I would trust him with my kid.
Why? because I wrote Cory about some systematic abuse that I was experiencing and he knew the special circumstances and he did nothing at all. Doing nothing means he supports women being abused and he is not the only one.
Cory, yes I am calling him Cory. Doesn’t really care about helping people. He cares about gaining media attention. This chump actually tried to use me and my son as pawns. We worked hard to get him elected. Walked miles and miles to collect signatures. Did a great job and Senator Booker wouldn’t even give me a written reference. Senator Booker wants you all stuck on welfare so he can control you. Knowing that people in poverty do not receive equal treatment at the doctors or emergency rooms.
And he will Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie. He is not the only one.
Muslims and Jews and Christians should proceed with caution when it comes to Senator Booker and I will not change what I am saying until he shows me other wise.
That’s the problem in NJ, we let people like Cory get away with saying whatever, then doing nothing, and then capitalizing on our suffering.
God knows there are Democrats that I support like Ben Jealous but Cory needs a new advisor. I don’t hate him. He just has a problem with doing right.
We can’t do everything even near perfect but Cory is doing some stuff. I wish him well and I don’t wish anything bad on him but he’s just disappointing.
