A a child I was exposed to pornographic material at the babysitters. There was a room in her house where it was plastered all over the walls. Clearly, things like that should be tucked away.
Yesterday, I reflected on how different things were when we were children and how trouble is just at the finger tips of our youth.
While searching for Mia Love yesterday… I pulled up a whole bunch of porn and I thought about teenage hormones and the things that they struggle with as kids. Does their natural biology, paired with the readily available internet cause new struggles for our kids?
Obviously, the answer is Yes!
So don’t be so hard on your kids when they stumble upon things that they should not. Instead use it as an opportunity to speak to them, pray for them and educate them in both morals and ethics.
