Today I was reviewing speeches given by:
- Hillary Clinton
- Michelle Obama
- Sarah Palin
- Elizabeth Warren
Each speech was unique, and delivered in their own authentic voice. While listening to Sarah, this line stuck out to me: “The reason you don’t hear about them is because our Vets don’t whine, they’re not wired to complain.”
We have a lot of groups like that. Mothers, minorities, special needs people, women in male dominant professions, police, and soldiers for Christ.
If we know that certain groups of people are not wired to complain, then why, when they complain, do we hesitate for so long? It’s the glacial pace that’s hurting people, health, and progress.
